Hello. My name is Kelli or =kmaier99 and my older account =diosaperdida and I am the owner of this new club. I wanted to join another sculpture club here on DA but it seems it was no longer being maintained...and I could see many were in my place. So I decided to go ahead and make a new start with a new club.

Welcome to a new sculpture club.

I know you are asking yourself "What can I do to help make this a great club?"

I am really glad you asked.

I really am going to need another person working with me. We can work out titles later. I will probably need more than one person if this club grows like I hope.
I would love to hear from you on anything you see that is sculpture related.
I welcome input in the form of articles, ID's and avatars.
Also contest ideas you have...please share.
This is a community. I hope we can all work together to make this club special.
Please let me know anything that is on your mind, anything you would like to see.

One last bit. I have a rather intense personal life right now. I know, we all do. But this is a special circumstance. I would very much appreciate a person to help me out when I can not
immediately post submissions, etc. My husband is healing from cancer, and he is my priority.
But ...and maybe this is selfish...having something like this helps me a lot!

You probably know the drill for the joining and submissions.
If you want to join...note me and make "join" the subject. I will join you from the front page IF I see it. I will not submit work for you from a link on the front page. Please make the effort to send a note with a link and title it "submission".
I think it would be prudent to limit the number of submissions you can make to two a week.
This way I do not get overwhelmed and fall behind. So long as interest in the club is there. I will hope to be here. Should some extraordinary life situation occur, I hope to have a trustworthy club helper or three by then.
Please help spread the word by putting this club's name in your journal or signature. If you join that is something I will have to require.


I have subscribed us for three months. Anyone wanting to donate more time will be a super special person in my book.

I will iron out the specifics but for now let us say the contest starts this upcoming Monday, and we will vote by poll for winners.
And heck yes there is a prize for each category!
I will donate a three month subscription or a print of approximate value to each winner. By approximate I mean within a 3 dollars plus or minus the cost of a three month sub....if it falls in that price range then it can be any print that tickles your tummy...or fancy or toes...etc.
